I really liked this. Elegant finish, acidity was great,. Graphite/ rocky, raspberry notes. I always like a good Margaux. — 9 months ago
2020 Daniel Bouland Bellevue Cailloux Morgon - Gamay from Beaujolais. This is a medium to full bodied wine. Bouland wines are described as defiantly deep, dark, country-style reds with plenty of grip and overflowing with personality. These are wines that are built for the long hall, unlike so many of the region’s wines. I describe this wine as brilliant and delicious. This wine is drinking nicely even without bottle age.
Once again, Beaujolais because they can be deliciously beautiful. Casualness in a bottle with a touch of class. Also can’t beat the QPR on some of these, especially this one. — 3 years ago

Medium ruby hue. Aromas and flavors of blackberry, cranberry, pepper, plum, toast, and vanilla. Medium-plus body; firm, medium-plus tannins and refreshing, medium-plus acidity. An rich, ripe bouquet of fruit and spice; a soft, well-integrated mouthfeel; and an easygoing finish (with a little heat on the backend). A solid, everyday wine. Blend of Grenache (50%), Syrah (30%), Carignan (10%), and Mourvedre (10%). — 6 years ago

My favorite Raveneau vintage and 2004 is absolutely pristine showing everything you could want from the legend—Captivating aromatics, a powerful, voluminous and waxy textured palate that comes with age, racy lemony acids and crystalline minerality. Not only is this brilliant vintage chiseled and laser focused but there is tremendous richness, weight and density. Finish just stays with you. The best showing I’ve had from the Forêt vineyard. — 3 months ago
Opened up nicely after a few days. — 7 months ago
I did not have high hopes for this one especially after paying $7.50. However, this is a well-structured wine! Very dark and really good. I wished I had bought more. — 2 years ago

An award winner every year, Chateau Bellevue Peycharneau is an extraordinary wine produced from a 37-acre hillside vineyard on the far-easter border of Bordeaux, near Bergerac. Deep purple color, Intense, expensive nose of red cherries, blackberries, toast and licorice. Riche and concentrated in the mouth with silky tannins and a nice long finish. Enjoy alone or with steaks, pork loin, turkey and cheeses. — 7 years ago

Outstanding Beaujolais. Shimmers in the glass. Minerals and bright black cherry dominate on the palate, with a smack of flowers on the finish. — 6 months ago
Blend of Merlot (70%), Cabernet Franc (15%), Cabernet Sauvignon (14%) and Malbec (1%). Medium ruby core that turns more garnet closer to the rim. Aromas of ripe red and black fruit with hints of tar and roasted coffee. Flavors of red cherry, raspberry, black currant, figs, and mocha. Just a touch of baking spices on the long finish. Satiny texture and very fine tannins. Medium bodied and very soft. Good example of where proper aging can benefit a wine. Solid. Thanks for sharing, Chris B. — 10 months ago
