Opened up but a bit disappointing for a high end wine. Richard liked it better than I. — 11 days ago
I started my visit to Opus one with this 2017 vintage.
On nose its peppery, spices, some tobacco, leather, Dried sweet fruit, Black Cherries
On palate, its so elegant. The Acidity and Tannins, its covers your mouthfeel yet sharp and warm Napa Style carbenet. Its Long, with well balanced Intensity. Surprised how 2017 can deliver this performance. CHEERS! — a month ago

I blinded some of my fellow WSET Diplomates on this and one astutely observed “it tastes like Opus One” whilst others thought it was too Old World in style to be such a thing. In short, we all liked it better than we have Opus One, if you can believe it. Believe it. — 2 months ago
