I’ve had three bottles of this in the cellar for the last few years and, for no particular reason, haven’t touched them. Tonight I thought I’d pull the cork on one to enjoy with Manchego and Serrano ham, as an appetiser ahead of some Spanish cuisine at home tonight. I can’t recall where I bought these, but they weren’t expensive - and this wine certainly overdelivers for the price. It has a classical, fresh bouquet of blanched almonds, nectarines, and clementines. The palate is medium bodied, juicy, saline and fresher still, with a hint of orange bitters on the finish. Enjoyable stuff! — 7 months ago
Lovely Cab leading blend with a healthy dose of Carménère. Gentle nose of ripe plum, black currant, dark chocolate, autumn leaves, and touch of green pepper. Eloquent medium body with round acidity and fine grained tannins.
Ready to drink, but should benefit from 5 years or so bottle age. — 5 months ago
A big, silky white with prominent non-friut aromas... floral (almost petrol), herbs and minerals... and hints of yellow apple and lemon. Lush on the palate with some citrus acid and lingering minerals. Paired with halibut cheeks over chevre-sauced pasta. Happy birthday to me!! — 10 months ago

Wonderful, as always. — 5 months ago
Delicious Vermentino. Crisp and fruity and summery and good with seafood. The label claims it benefits from the “maestrale” (mistral winds). Glad someone is enjoying that wind! — 9 months ago

The nose has the citrus and petrol of Riesling, the yellow apples of chardonnay. A weighty mouthfeel of creamy yellow apples with soft but present citrusy acid. A perfect winter white! ❄️ — a year ago
