Podere Rocche dei Manzoni

Big 'd Big Barolo Nebbiolo 1982

Slightly corked we were really disappointed at first but after about an hour and a half of decanting the wine opened up nicely. Still not "perfect" but an excellent wine nonetheless — 2 days ago

Little K Syrah 2016

Smooth, light tannins, mild blackberry flavor. 10/10 would recommend for easy drinking. Paired wonderfully with some artichokes. Color is a beautiful dark ink. — 11 days ago

Big Table Farm

Laughing Pig Pinot Noir Rosé 2019

The 2019 Big Table Farm ‘Laughing Pig’ Rose is another thrilling Rose bottling from this famed Oregon estate. On the nose this has seriously good range from wild mushroom tones and peat moss that are woven together with guava and pomegranate seed aromatics that all sing in unison in the glass. The palate is silky smooth, showing a pillowy texture and wonderful, gratifying length. Shades of cantaloupe and green apple combine with ripe Yakima cherry, and cran-pomegranate flavors. The earthy undertones round out this extraordinary Rose wine that will have a long life ahead of it, picking up tertiary tones as it ages. Having recently tried their 2017 Rose, I can state firsthand that their Rose ages well. Drink 2020-2027- 93 — 18 days ago

Little Apples

This is close to one of the best ciders I’ve had. Funky with tart apples, lemon, and flowers. Amazing and worth searching out this winery/cider. — 16 days ago

Big Table Farm

Yamhill-Carlton Pinot Noir 2017

Very strawberry. Rhubarb. Orange juice. Great tannin management. I am not such a big fan of strawberry driven pinots. It’s a good wine but I will step away from big table farm. Eric Asimov from the NYT is a fan. This seems to be their house style. A great wine for sure but for me just too much strawberry compote. Turns plummy after 1 hour open to air. — 13 days ago

Little Fuck

Malbec 2019

Purchased solely for the label at Cora for €7 and will be back for more. It is a very dark and dry red that is full bodied and smooth. Earthy with hints of currant and chocolate. Possibly one of my favorite reds since moving to Europe a few months ago. — 9 days ago
