Tasting at Moore B. Owner couple present but didn’t speak, looking uncomfortable. Great line up though. Nice light bodied lively red Burg with emphasis on cherry notes. From a figure thin long plot that’s le diut — 2 years ago

Cor intensa mas não vibrante. Corpo médio. Aroma de frutas e um pouco de álcool. O sabor é de vinho maduro e com amadeirado bem evidente. — 5 years ago

Les Guinechiens Vin de France Chenin Blanc 2017

A very good wine and great choice for this dinner, thanks @pascalinelepeltier.⁣
Very balanced and clean. Alive and tight. An exotic nose with slight notes of hydromel, dried apricot and vanilla. In the mouth, a surprising salinity and subtle bitters.

Séchet Chablis 1er Cru Chardonnay 2014

This was wild. Completely different wines throughout its aeration. Had a hard time with this blind. At first it was incredibly earthy, almost a kiss of something aldehydic, then with air, it moved into a deeply reductive stage, salty ham and hot dog, eventually coming around to flint, crushed oyster shell. Really intriguing journey. Fruit was round, very precise and just touching ripe, textural phenolics really added a dimension to the already mineral spine this had. Great wine, too young for sure — 7 years ago

Le Mont Benoit 1er Cru Extra Brut Champagne Pinot Meunier Blend 2018

Lots of complex aromatics that became even more expressive as the bottle warmed up. Some oxidative notes mixed with bread and flowers. In the mouth this leans to the vinous side. Acid driven which allows it to be consumed through out the meal. Just a hint of bitterness on the finish — 3 years ago

Special wines for a special occasion! Happy anniversary to my beloved partner in wine!
Initially a bit closed and was thrown off but after about 5mins in the glass the intensity picked up notably. Pears, apples, hint of honey followed by balanced acidity that complement the nose and palate. Kept picking up volume with every glass.
