Medium plus in body and elegant, with medium acidity.
Dry and fruity on the palate with nice complexity.

Good right out of the bottle, and better after 2 hours of airtime.
Nicely balanced with a soft and spicy mouthfeel, and good by itself as a sipping wine.

Meadowcroft Wines Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon 2019 Napa Valley, California
It is time for my #FridayCabernetfix. Here is a very tasty one from Oakville.
Dark ruby in color with a purplish rim.
Fruity nose of blackberries, sweet plums, cooked cherries, cedar, licorice, vanilla, spices, dark coffee, maple syrup, black pepper, light earth, spices, light vegetables, herbs and tobacco leaf.
Full bodied and smooth with medium acidity and long legs.
Dry and fruity on the palate with blackberries, black cherries, oak, coffee, tobacco, herbs, spices, dark chocolates and peppercorn.
Nice spicy finish with soft tannins and tangy cherries.
This is a delicious Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley. Nicely balanced with a nice mouthfeel. Soft and elegant. Fruit forward with nice balance.
Needs a few hours to open up properly, and I gave it 3 hours in the decanter.
Complex and tasty. Rich, extracted and elegant. The tangy finish making it interesting. Loved the nose once it opened up.
A good quality wine that will age nicely in the next 10 years. Has good potential to become a 94+ wine.
Good by itself or with food, and will pair nicely with a big piece of steak.
A blend of 91% Cabernet Sauvignon and 9% Petite Verdot. A small production of only 6 barrels.
14.5% alcohol by volume.

Pop and pour. On the nose: black cherry, currant, oaky vanilla, anise, pencil lead. Taste: Schrader dense/rich, smooth wine with black fruit, currants, spice, oak, fig and a plumy cedar medium plus finish. Not a CCS or RBS, but I would not dump and spit! Cheers! — 6 days ago
Blend of 92% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Petit Verdot, and 1% Merlot sourced estate-owned vineyards in Rutherford (30%), South Napa (22%), the St. Helena home ranch (17%), and Stag's Leap District (Barboza Vineyard, 17% and Las Rocas Vineyard, 14%). Just opened this, 14 years in the bottle after a couple of years in the barrel! Still tasting well, young and juicy, should easily last another 14 years in the bottle. Deep Ruby, dark fruits, spice, complex nose. Palate reflects juicy rich berry fruits, well structured harmonious wine. Fine soft rich tannins, long finish ending with fruit, tobacco and earthy tones. Wow! — 6 days ago

This 6 year old from the great 2016 vintage is showing great complexity now. A gorgeous wine that will age nicely in the next 20 years.
Delicious right out of the bottle and better with airtime.
I had it a year ago, and it was delicious then, but now it is so much better. What a wonderful surprise.
Rich, opulent, spicy and fruit forward.
I paired it with a Charcuterie board of meats and cheeses. A great sipping wine too.
A blend of 90% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Cabernet Franc.

👃 is incredible. Black and blue fruit + olive.
Medium+ body, chewy mouthfeel. Blackberry, currant, black cherry, touch of dust, and acidity that is Corison. This is my favorite Napa Corison. Different than the ‘14s, ‘16’s, and 18’s that I love. Thanks @Cathy Corison !! — 5 days ago

Opened the 2019 just to see how it is drinking now. Very tight but a nice balanced blend.
