Great tension between the creamy/lactic qualities of Pinot Blanc and racy, citrus elements. Just the faintest hint of tender green herbs and minerals. Dirt cheap, given the high quality. — 13 days ago

The Non-Vintage 'Tradition' Champagne from Baron Albert is a gorgeous effort from this estate that provides excellent value. The wine is an impressive blend of Pinot Neinier, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir that opens with a bouquet of sourdough bread, white rose, roasted hazelnuts and kumquat. Lithe and light on its feet, the mousse is lovely. There are rich flavors of apricot, Pazzaz apple, lemon zest and baked pear. This shows impressive range and is a delight to savor. Nice, more structured and more intense than Côte de Beaune but still very approachable. Candied plums, fairly sharp but focused — 17 hours ago
Ever wondered what a 50 year old Beaujolais tastes like? It was very Burgundian! I initially though Savigny from a colder vintage but it was almost impossibly light in colour and that telltale note of beetroot was there in the background. A surprisingly good 1966 Bichot Fleurie! — 5 days ago
Even after tasting good red, still enough power or more, bitter sweet and concentrated @1500, obiobi, 190206 — 17 days ago
Cherry and cranberry nose, flavors follow similarly and very fruit forward with a touch of oak. New world approachability with Burgundian balance. Good value and worth the extra dollars over the Vieilles Vignes Pinot from Bichot — 6 days ago

It has been awhile since I have had a still wine from Alsace. I love the elongated bottle! Beautiful medium translucent ruby red in color..I let this decant all afternoon! Kermit Lynch tasting note indicated that this is ready to drink now!!
Really nice Pinot Noir..the fruit is there..tart
cherry..cranberries & raspberry. Earth and baking spices are the star of this wine..cinnamon..black tea leaves...nutmeg and crushed rocks. Pinot Noir from Alsace....who would have thought!! 🙃 — 8 days ago
