It was just sitting there, telling me to drink another bottle. Delicious! — 3 months ago
Entry-level Chardonnay by the legendary Jim Clendenen - perhaps the most important name in Santa Barbara wine- from three different sites in Santa Barbara County—Bien Nacido, Rancho Vinedo and Los Alamos. Barrel fermented and aged for 8 months in French oak barrels. Clean, pure nose with aromas of lemon zest, minerals (crushed stone, flint) and some vanilla and buttery notes. Fresh, bright, slightly saline, with plenty of acidity and lemony flavors. Great balance. Excellent value ⚡️ — 2 years ago
Fruit forward aromas of blackberry and black plum with undertones of baking spices. Round and rich on the palate with good acidity, tart blackberries and spicy tannins. — 17 days ago
Wasn’t sure what to expect but Wow!! The nose on this one is strong and classic, think about an English saddle and then double it! Then take a sip, OMG, a red fruit juice bomb with a smokey delicious velvety texture that just won’t stop. It’s big and bold. Can’t wait to share a bottle with friends! — 2 years ago
A real treat at ten years old. Key lime pie and slate — 18 days ago
Alfred Hrdlicka label - borderline almost X-rated. Wine excellent. I really do like his whites. At Vino Carta in San Diego. White pepper, lemon and Gooseberries - Great stuff / One of the benchmark wines folks should try. Was introduced at Bells in Los Alamos to this winery. Needs about. 1 hour to open up. — 17 days ago
Talk about classy (or classic) Chardonnay, don’t matter really, this is both! This is in its own league when it comes to Chard. It’s crisp yet round, bright yet balanced, and acidic yet unctuous. Not old world but not typical Cali Chard. Must try this ABC. Cheers. — 6 months ago
