Bar-M Vineyard Chardonnay

Diatom’s 2009 Chardonnay Bar-M, from vineyards in Los Alamos, is a gorgeous wine and a fabulous value. Tangerine oil, white flowers and light tropical accents give this curvy, airy Santa Barbara Chardonnay so much appeal. Not a cali chard guy but this never sees oak so it was pretty nice

Balanced chard. Scratches the chard itch without overthinking it. Enough body to hold up to more flavorful fish and chicken.

It’s been a while since I had this but it’s got deep stone fruit flavours and full bodied. Round on the palate with a hint of nectar on the finish.

Always great to wine down the weekend with a mellow Chard. Dry and contrasting on the palate with obtuse acidity and a tropical ripe fruit finish; other than that this could be great.

I actually found this at Costco..$17ish! Beautiful Chardonnay sharp citrus, tropical fruits, nice salinity, jasmine, mild creaminess like vanilla taffy not butter! Pnp might update pending little chill and aeration! Santa Barbara wines are a favorite! Cheers on this Friday evening!
