Animale, iron, iodine, very mineral as well, great redfruits, wonderful acidity, very long, lingering finish, frankly a great St. Joseph, first time I’ve had this wine, but I think @Tom Casagrande nailed it in his review of the 2018!! — 3 months ago

Nose is a little reticent at first, giving shy whiffs of Granny Smith apples and crushed rock. Just the barest hint of Chablis “brothiness” as I like to call it. As it airs and warms, it’s a bit more forthcoming. In the mouth it’s on the lighter side, but certainly showing Chablis minerally character. Acids medium low. A nice aperitif Chablis but color me a bit disappointed, for now, given the producer. Will try to check back in after a few hours.

Had the 2023 in December of 2025. Paired with beef burgundy and was most enjoyable. Fruits-cherry and berry. Silky smooth tannins. Hint (?) of spice on the end. Plan to get a couple more bottles of this next time I go to Costco. Especially at the price point! — 3 months ago
