Beautiful. Got me out of retirement. Reminds me of Schäfer-Fröhlich. Deep green apple 🍏 hint of white peach on the nose. Pretty herbal for a Riesling. The stuffing is there. Way to young right now. This needs at least for years.
So trust me on this just keep it. — 11 days ago
The truest test of a wine: how quickly do people reach for more. This bottle lasted barely an hour from pop and pour. Just so drinkable. It doesn't hurt that the nose is sublime: cotton candy, lemon peel, lemon oil, ginger, slowly building in intensity...on the palate: fantastic acidity, pitch perfect density, lemon peel, ginger, wet stone. My only quibbles are: a) length; this fades on the palate quickly, and b) I could have used a bit more mid-palate density. As I said, quibbles, a fantastic btl. — 2 days ago
Nice r ippend riesling. Tropical fruit, mainly pineapple and mango. Lots of herby tones. First hints of some petrol. Still strong standing acids that make it a very interesting glass. Cork was a bit disapointing, so I wonder if it survivals a lot longer. Wine was already close to the top. — 6 days ago
A true showstopper for me, transparent yet with a great concentration and a pronounced, parent rock-like, minerality, that lies like a spine through the dense white stone fruit characters.
A piercing acidity dicates the palate with good fruit concentration, strong fatigue on the midpalate and exapnsive and long finish. — 5 days ago
Freshly exploded river rocks on the nose. Some petrified green apple. White flowers. Almost stinging in its intensity.
Palate is so fresh. Mineral. Green apple. Lovely grip. Great density. This hidden richness.
Finish is green apple. Long. Almost succulent.

Spindler Lindenhof - Forster Mariengarten - Riesling Trocken 2019
The nose is discreet with white flower and citrusy notes. The palate is well designed and delicious. A massive acid drive leads with a nice width, some grip, a bit of roundness in mid palate wich adds another layer of complexity, there is a very slight bubbly touch too. The finish is very long with a citrusy bitterness which gives way to a super fresh after taste. This is really good — 11 days ago
Was craving a natty skin contact wine. This delivers. It’s ciderlike. Complex nose of honeycomb, jasmine, cinnamon stick and sunny d. Hits the mouth with some oiliness, shaley minerality and racy acidity. Orange blossom and tart cranberry juice rice krispy finishes it off. — 4 days ago
Yes. God yes. Tropical, enveloping nose. Lychee, and a tiny hint of va or barrel funk on top of perfectly off-dry, brisk but intense palate of concentrated Mosel energy. Beautiful fruit with a crisp, mineral cut. A little much so2 for now, but should calm down in time. Stupid value at under $30. Planning to stock up on this. — 4 days ago
