Very dark. Smells resinous and berry-lucious. Forests and good humus come to mind. Flavors are nice. It’s dry and very tannic, but it’s got nice anise, licorice stuff to go with the plum and dark berries. Very complex and filled with flavor. This is classic, classy Petite. — 24 days ago
Light perfectly clear Pink color, mild champagne aroma, somewhat dry with fruity cherry finish — 27 minutes ago
I really liked this. And I am a fan of the obscure charbono grape. Starts out tough and rough but interesting. With a lot of air (I tasted over a few days)... the tough dissipates but all the interesting bits linger. If you imagine what that label taste like... you got it. — 17 days ago
This is a very tasty Pinot Noir from Carneros. Showing cedar, ripe raspberries, licorice, light vanilla, blueberries, sweet cherries, chocolates, tobacco and peppercorn.
Easy drinking and dry on the palate with medium acidity.
Nicely balanced with a nice smooth mouthfeel. Fruit forward, spicy and interesting.
Good right out of the bottle and good by itself.
14.5% alcohol by volume.
