Seven Peaks

Henry's Seven Barossa Red Blend 2017

Very nice wine @ our favorite cheese and charcuterie place! Medium red color. Bright, fresh nose. Very fruit forward wine. Cherries, strawberries, and plenty of spice. More Pinot than Shiraz. Was just what we were looking for this afternoon. Give it a try! — 3 days ago

Excellent Chardonnay. It is from Oregon- not a place I usually pick Chardonnay from. Lots of oak and fruit. Had with baked chicken. — 8 days ago

Speaking Rock Similkameen Valley Cabernet Franc 2016

Visited this lovely estate winery in August 2020. Had a wonderful tour, visited the wine cave, enjoyed 6-8 tastings. The Cabernet Franc is robust. Peppery and berry fruit on the nose followed by chocolate and a hint of coffee and a smooth, easy finish. Enjoyed a rare steak and piping hot baked potato with a large glass. — 15 days ago

L'Ecole No. 41

Perigee Seven Hills Vineyard Estate Cabernet Sauvignon Blend 2007

Foxy. Black currants and dust on the nose with oak and some cocoa. Savory, tannic, palate staining and a little sweet, but with enough acidic lift and freshness even at 14 years to make for interesting drinking. Some sediment has fallen out, but not enough; more time will help.. Very tasty. — 12 days ago

Seven Springs Pinot Noir 2014

I love Willamette Pinot because it’s so unique. It’s generally less fruity and obvious than California, but softer and more approachable in its youth than Burgundy. This is no exception. The nose is super fresh and a little tart. Cherry cola and bubble gum. The palate is earthier than the nose lets on with moderately high acid. I even get some black pepper and rubber. It definitely keeps you coming back for another sip. — a month ago

Seven Springs Vineyard Pinot Noir 2016

Slightly cloudy appearance, dull not bright. Discovered tiny pieces of solid matter in the glass so seems unfined and unfiltered. Definitely better uncorked than Coravinned, needs to breath a little. With Coravin there’s some reductive notes and vegetable notes. Medium(-) aromas that remind me of stems and fermentation (tank sample) definitely som stems in the ferment. Warm alcohol on the nose and on the palate. Still, good balance between the intensity and the richness of ripe red fruit and the acidity. A little too much alcohol sensation for me. #eolaamityhills #oregon #oregonwine #pinotnoir — 17 days ago
