Flavors of crunchy minerality in the forefront with layers of tart cranberry, strawberry and a hint of cream yet finishes with dry rose petals. — a month ago
Intriguing, beguiling red, ruby barely opaque w/evolving nose of blackberry and plum Gummy Bear, a lift (maybe Alpine?) but def hi-toned note, herby Ricola, devious spice, medicinal & forest floor, floral. Needs food, played well w/duck breast. Med weight & med acidity. As @Lyle Fass mentioned: Gamay-esque, also reminded me of Lagrein. Killed this bottle in no time. Unique & esoteric variety, thanks Lyle — 17 days ago
a little funky loire Cabernet franc.
unoaked (concrete ageing)
medium coarse but pleasant tannins.
smoke, bits of dirt with small rock parts in it, black plum and some dried 🌶️.
a great surprise but not for everyone.

Really hit the spot. Small pours to savor the fine bubbles. Bright front, long finish of fresh baked bread — 11 days ago
Popped and poured. In the glass, a bright, golden peach color with a persistent mousse. On the nose, some marzipan, rose and brioche. The palate is electric; laser-cut with lime citrus, citrus pith and absolutely loaded with limestone minerals. Super fresh with bracing acidity. The finish is long and zippy. This is not what I expected from a BdN…but I like it! Disgorged February 2017. — a month ago
