No heavy mechanical machines were used in the maintenance of this vineyard, which has solemnly been worked by man and by horse.

Mineral, structured. Subtle citrus aromas (less fruit than other Mâconnais tasted). Grapefruit, slightly bitter notes on the palate. Fresh, good acidity — 2 days ago
Aromas of pear and nectarines, grillé, roasted almonds, hay, hints of honey and beeswax
On the palate is a bit warm, but quite complex, perhaps not extremely fresh
Almondy and mineral after taste that again finishes a bit warm

Seems tightly wound at first, but opens up with air. Nose shows candied, crisp cherry, light spice, and bright crushed rock minerality. Very lively. Chiseled in the mouth, with crushed rock minerality in the foreground and fruit in the background. Bright acids. Seems like it’s not quite integrated yet. Fun now, it will get more elegant and settled over the next 2-3 years. Nice!
UPDATE: Night 2, it’s in fact much more together. All the individual components are singing in harmony, and great limestony terroir is informing the crisp cherry fruit. Upping from 9.0 to 9.2. — 20 days ago
Redon house makes a lovely #champagne. This is definitely on your dry/lean end of the spectrum. As it warms served in a Bordeaux glass, nose reveals green apple, pear, crushed oyster shells, bit of white flowers. Delicious, puckering acidity on the palate and thoroughly enjoyable even a week after uncorking with a lever rubber stopper. — 13 days ago
