Montrachet Chardonnay 2008

One of the better white wines, if not the best. The complexity and acidity were firing in unison, aromatics exploding from the glass! The fruit was beautiful and this wine still has plenty of life ahead of it. — 4 days ago

Narbantons Savigny-lès-Beaune 1er Cru Pinot Noir 2008

Dark rubi robe, nose of spices, crushed roses and dark cherries. Medium bodied, very fresh, balanced and complex but also bold structure, this is a joy of a wine done in the classical way. An enfant now but getting closer to drinking window. Give it 3 more years in bottle. It will sing. Enthusiastically recommended. — 20 days ago

Cuisles Special Club Champagne Pinot Meunier 2009

100% PM, which worked really well with the richness of the vintage. A lovely rich and nutty champy that is balanced by fantastic minerality and acidity. — 14 days ago

Mémoire de Vignes Champagne Pinot Noir 2014

Pop and pour, but notes from 2 hrs open. This taste comes from the last sip in the btl...what a hit tonight. On the nose: ripe canteloupe, salt, soft savory herbs, amazing intensity...my wife offered to give me what was left in my glass, but said she'd take it if I didn't want it... Fantastic acidity, but melon, melon rind, perfect density. Better than the '12 or '13? Reminds me a touch of the '11, which was more savory. Yum. — 15 days ago

Chablis Chardonnay 2019

Nose is quite dense. Blind I might guess California.

Big fruit for a Chablis. Tropical. Minerality is an after thought. Very delicious.

Poor typicity. Delicious .

Cuvée Carte Blanche Brut Champagne Chardonnay

Nose of bread, brioche and lemon, very inviting. The palate shows delicate bubbles, a nice and soft mouthfeel, a delicate lemon note all along and a vinous finish, very precise and somehow ample. Totally my kind of bubbly — 11 days ago
