Tart and high va. Leather and tobacco notes. — 3 months ago
Smoldering and different. Some tar or asphalt and hint of smoke on the nose. Nice balance and plummy. — 4 months ago
I’ve had three bottles of this in the cellar for the last few years and, for no particular reason, haven’t touched them. Tonight I thought I’d pull the cork on one to enjoy with Manchego and Serrano ham, as an appetiser ahead of some Spanish cuisine at home tonight. I can’t recall where I bought these, but they weren’t expensive - and this wine certainly overdelivers for the price. It has a classical, fresh bouquet of blanched almonds, nectarines, and clementines. The palate is medium bodied, juicy, saline and fresher still, with a hint of orange bitters on the finish. Enjoyable stuff! — 2 months ago
Darker, heavier red from Priorat. New oak, black fruit, red fruit. In a really good place with 13 years aging. — 3 months ago

Medium-deep ruby color.
Aromas of red/black fruit, thyme, cured meat.
Dry. Flavors of stewed black cherry, cassis, vanilla, licorice, violet, thyme, black pepper. Rich, chewy tannins. Phenomenal!

A big, silky white with prominent non-friut aromas... floral (almost petrol), herbs and minerals... and hints of yellow apple and lemon. Lush on the palate with some citrus acid and lingering minerals. Paired with halibut cheeks over chevre-sauced pasta. Happy birthday to me!! — 5 months ago

Great biodynamic bubbles. Dry minerals, no fruit. It’s no Raventos, but this is a bit more affordable and awesome. Enjoyed on Thanksgiving, bought at BP. — 14 days ago
