PnP. Classic Matthiasson red blend. Menthol and dark cherries on the nose with ample cedar. Lovely texture with hints of spice and even some cloves. Medium depth and finished. Well made! — 12 hours ago
Sassicaia is a masterpiece of a Tuscan wine. 2014 vintage (Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon, Not the Merlot), opened up and filled the pallette with fruit, spices and depth of complexity unmatched...Nose to finish one of the best Tuscan's ever. — 6 days ago
Another amazing D2. Starts off with the richness of the Merlot followed by some tannins from the Cabernet Sauvignon. — 8 days ago
Delectable tells me I had this exact wine 205 weeks ago. I liked it a lot then and even more now. The wine is dialed up on all levels from perfumes, intensity, mouthfeel, texture and freshness. The core has this magical vibrancy that is so hard to desribe. It is a very noble. But it is unfiltered and there is some texture here and a mouth coating feeling that I love and i don’t remember from last time. Overall it is really impressive. One of the great wines of the world. — 15 days ago
Decanted for 2 hours. This dark colored Cabernet has a beautiful bouquet and is full of heavy flavors including oak, spice, tobacco, black cherry and plenty more. The more it sits the bigger the flavors become. A good Thanksgiving dinner choice. — 16 days ago
