A great magnum! — 21 days ago
Popped and poured. Drank over four hours. Nose muted but beautifully elegant on the mouthfeel. Very lovely wine — a month ago
Rich, smooth Chablis (Chardonnay) enjoyed with calamari at The Banks restaurant, Back Bay, Boston — 3 months ago
Built up a bit of excitement in selecting this Nuit-Saint George, then opened it up and neaaahhh!
All a bit flat. Nothing terribly wrong and it wasn’t corked, just no major aromas or flavors. Guess you can’t win em all. Or, we’ve just been spoiled with amazing wine and every now and then you pick an average one.
Still a great meal 😊 — 3 days ago

Delish. Explodes on the palate. Remarkably dark fruited. Tiny bit of Brett. Rustic in that way. — a month ago

Orange rind, biscuit and berry fruit on the nose. Hints of ginger and walnut, too. It’s bright, dry and lively on the palate with fine bubbles and a nutty finish. — 10 days ago

Always finish the tasting with something older. This works.
It has hit just beyond its precipice. Older, not quite stewy; blackberries, black cherries, plum, sandalwood, dry twig-leaves, nice acidity-roundness and well balanced finish. — 14 days ago
