Apple and pear. Great minerality, medium plus acidity. Really nice - I love white wines from sovie — 6 months ago
Classic Margaux profile. Floral, plum, dark fruit, with chocolate, earth, spice and good finish. Plush and fruit forward, but with good Bordeaux character. — 7 months ago
Nice and elegant. Raspberry, strawberry, herbs, some spice, medium+ acidity. Clean. — 8 months ago
A bit muted and past its prime, but some nice cherry and spice. Medium
Bodied, medium acidity. — 3 months ago
Really nice. Great minerality, Granny Smith apple, a bit of grapefruit, and a slightly spicy/bitter note that’s really nice. More fruit forward than other gruners. Good length. One of the better gruners I’ve had. — 4 months ago
Wow - amazing! Elegant and bright. Floral and citrus, with a bit of creaminess in the front and a long lingering finish. Just great minerality and complexity. I love vintage champagne. — 6 months ago
Nice California Syrah. Fruit forward, with dark fruits and in particular blackberry, but still retains a savory backbone of black pepper and an almost gamey quality. Medium body and medium acidity, great with grilled food. — 4 months ago
Straightforward but nice blueberry/blackberry fruit, black pepper, spices, and great with smoked brisket. — 6 months ago
Phenomenal. Savory on the nose with smoke, herbs, earth, minerals, and a gamey/olive tapenade quality. But it’s so very silky on the palate and surprises you with brambly berry fruit and a lingering finish. As good as Syrah gets this is great. — 6 months ago

1989 - wow! Aged amazingly well, with fine tannins and nice acidity. Elegant. Mostly secondary notes of tobacco, eucalyptus, cinnamon spice, and a bit of vanilla. Some left over fruit in the background of the plum kind. Really great. — 6 days ago
