1989 - wow! Aged amazingly well, with fine tannins and nice acidity. Elegant. Mostly secondary notes of tobacco, eucalyptus, cinnamon spice, and a bit of vanilla. Some left over fruit in the background of the plum kind. Really great. — 6 months ago

This is really awesome, an incredible Ribera del Duero. Concentrated, but fresh. Fine tannins, and good acidity. Expressive fruit (berries and black cherry), spice, smoke, and aromatic herbs. Oak is subtle, and plays a supporting role here. Just brilliant - and a great wine with lamb or Latin food. — 2 months ago

Nice, archetypal Napa cab from mountain fruit. Cherry, plum, tobacco, spice, cedar. Tannins are firm, and the wine is on the rich side. It is oak-forward but it’s balanced. — 4 months ago
