More reticent on the nose with sappy dark cherry fruit, some tangy, gnarly pretty notes. Lovely balance on the palate. Fresh and profound. Still very young.

Sappy red and black raspberries. Very densely packed on the palate. Would have thought much younger and from a ripe vintage if served blind. Has a long was to go.

Young, young, young. As a result, a touch reticent tonight but the greatness and depth is there for someone 20 years from now, hopefully me

Dark berries and plum, hint of meat, quite floral and despite concentration, elegant for sure. Superb

First Mugnier and Musigny. Opened one hour before pouring. The fifth bottle in the line up and the moment I brought the glass to my nose, I knew it would be the WOTN. Beautiful, pure, and ethereal. Layers of sweet cherries, rose petals, and violets. After a hour, secondary aromas of black tea, wet earth, and autumn leaves dominated. The nose was as seductive as it was complex. Maybe the best wine I've had in 2017.

Young but dazzling. Tightly wound. Incredibly clear fruit. Great acidity. An intensity and length that is stunning, but a decade would help.
