2017 Turkey Zinfandel from Howell Mountain. I called the color deep purple. First thing that hit me is very creamy nose… vanilla cream that fills some donuts (heavy malo?). Fresh blueberry… lots of berries, it’s a berry salad. Also dried prune/fig, some chocolate and baked spices. Solid wine! I need to drink more zin!! — 3 days ago
NOLE! goat! And a great wine — 11 days ago
I should have exercised patience and tried this in another 5-10 years…but doesn’t really matter, because it tastes fantastic now! — 5 days ago
Deep color, not too big but it’s a classic . The ‘13 napa character is strong :) — 15 days ago
Blend of mostly Cab Sav with Cab Franc, Merlot, Petit Verdot & Malbec, aged for 22 Months in new French oak. Deep Ruby with aromas of black berry fruits, sweet spice, blossom & oak. Palate flavors of blackberry, black cherry & plum, jammy, with sweet spice, licorice and cacao notes. Fine structured soft tannins, well integrated, long finish, ending fresh fruit character, adding some leather, nutty notes & oak. Outstanding, still drinking well, has some bottle age. — a month ago

Same comments. Brooding wine tonight. Maybe with some air will start to sing. Nevertheless, nice ripe fruit, red and black. Earthy. Grippy tannins. Medium minis finish. — 8 days ago
