Les Charmes Morgon Gamay 2018

Bright ruby dress. Nose cherry, crunchy red fruits, pepper, herbal points tending towards evolution fade to mineral accents. Concentration carried by a aging that expresses with balance on 2018, still full of freshness. It pinots perfectly. Racy, gouleyant. Perfect price/pleasure ratio!

Robe rubis vive. Rapport prix/plaisir impec!

Beaujolais Gamay Rosé

Super balanced Rose. Just enough of everything to make a rose desirable even on a cool evening. Bright, slightly acidic, raspberries,, vanishing stone essence (perhaps flint or slate but not strong just hints) — 7 days ago

Coteaux du Languedoc Red Rhone Blend

Bought at Nicolas rue de Saint Dominique. The most close I am looking for a full-time bodied wine, but not very complex — 3 years ago

Côte du Py Morgon Gamay 2016

Last had this almost 3 years ago. The years have been good - this is in a very nice place. A decant still helps for sure, but the red fruited aromas leap from the glass here. The tannins are surprisingly still quite present on the palate, but the fruit acid balance is excellent. Very nice and a great pairing with kinderhook farms pork chops in a Chinese marinade. — 24 days ago

Domaine Dominique et Janine Crochet

Sancerre Sauvignon Blanc 2020

The wine of the evening is the 2020 Domaine Dominique et Janine Crochet Sancerre. From the Loire Valley Bué-en-Sanccerrouis. 100% Sauvignon Blanc.

On the nose there is lime, white peach, grapefruit, passionfruit, herbaceous, minerality and wet river rock.

On the palate I can tell there is lime, grapefruit, pear, white peach, river rock and finty minerality.

This is a beautifully classic Loire Valley Sancerre that is medium bodied with a crisp fresh mouthfeel medium+ to high acidity with a long citrus stoney minerality finish. Have a great weekend and please stay safe and healthy. Nostrovia! 🥂🥂🥂🥂
