Dry and fresh. Slight rich. Citrus, pineapple. Slightly stimulated on my tongue. Quite good balance between fruitiness and acidity. 2021 @1980, Toscany JH, 230813-230815 — 4 months ago
Beautiful wine. Easy to drink but not weak. Strong for a Riesling. A good winter white. — 13 days ago
mmmmmmm delicious. The younger, fruitier, softer side of Nebbiolo.
Enough acid and tannin to give it both a refreshing flavor and a nice long finish. It's like a teenager- young and fun, starting to mature and makes you curious about what it's going to be when it's all grown up. — 2 months ago
A lot of cherry, really opened up over time. Line it though! — 4 months ago

Miles to go. Beautiful, but too young. Glad I have more! — 2 months ago
2 hour open bottle before drinking. Paired with short rib ragu over penne. Wow. This wine was excellent. Smooth elegant. Great terroir but soft. Great finesse. Held up to the richness of the short ribs. — 3 months ago
This iteration of the Garagiste private label (from an undisclosed winery) is excellent, particularly in view of the vintage. Classic Nebbiolo nose of faded roses, macerated cherry, old barrel scents, spice (hint of cinnamon?), crushed stone, and porcini mushroom. Surprisingly soft on the palate for a ‘14, with deep cherry fruit, crushed stone, and spice flavors. Very nice flavor concentration. Nice acids and very soft tannin come though in the back half of the palate. — 4 months ago

After two hours in the decanter really started to open up. Dense, smooth, lots of cab franc graphite. Some dark fruit and violets on the nose. — 9 days ago
