Big pumpkin here with rich and creamy pie spices; vanilla, allspice, nutmeg, clove, cedar, oak, candied ginger, ginseng, lemongrass. Good move making it milkshake! Jumping, pink marshmallow fez says au revoir, and poof. Slick, fake Santa beard lacing drops like a kid’s dream to orange semi-translucent puck, and appropriate foam smirk. This beer ‘looks’ pumpkin. The nose is cinnamon-allspice, and expected clove; a sweet brown sugar note waves from the corner. Cinnamon-sugar opens across the palate with a cream soda feel. Lemon zest ties the spice together into a lemoncello grip when it finally deciphers the malt and sugar message. There is a cola element throughout, which, in conjunction with the lemon, delivers a very refreshing and familiar comfort. Quite nice for the dwindling dog days of Florida summer! Poolside Pumpkin!

Waited a bit to get spooky with this one! Boo! Orange sourdough, caramel glass, cinnamon-chiles, cardamom, and cedar with dark brown sugar, dates and molasses. Fly agaric lacing does the micro polka on the glass as mystic swirls of smoke trace spirals from the cream colored top to the surface skim. Cinnamon leads the gourd charge, sweet potato follows, pepper and black raisin buttress those initials, while darkened caramel fills the void of clove, burnt candy and BBQ blood orange before swisher cherry sweetness.

Rum notes with caramel cream in the lead; spun sugar, cinnamon and clove with yogurt pretzel and honeyed tea. Spicy entry boasts sweetness but not overwhelming. Pumpkin oil, vanilla, oaky caramel, cinnamon and bitter note that suggests charred pecan, and peppercorns. This beer is good because it doesn’t stay sweet throughout and instantly congers the autumnal spirit.
