This 2018 Rossj-Bass continues to impress with its vibrant and layered expression. On the nose, the Sauvignon Blanc influence lends bright aromatic lift, offering ripe peach, zesty lemon peel, and a delicate touch of passionfruit, all woven together with nuances of almond and a whisper of jasmine. The palate is beautifully balanced, round and texture with a medium-full body, yet lifted by a lively, refreshing acidity. The finish is polished and harmonious. Effortless drinkability. — a day ago
Super nutty. Yellow / over ripe apples. Very interesting — 5 hours ago
Clear, medium ruby in color. On the nose, it's clean with pronounced primary and secondary aromas of blackberries, blueberries, vanilla, pencil shavings, and crayons. On the palate, it's dry, with high acidity, high tannins, high alcohol, full body, and pronounced primary and secondary flavors of plum sauce, blueberries, white pepper, and crushed gravel with a long finish. This wine is intense, complex, and maybe a little too in your face (which is a little off balanced if you don't like that sort of thing). Overall, I would rate this wine as very good. — a day ago
Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of an hour. The 2019 “Les Romains” pours a bright, pale yellow color with medium viscosity. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of bright, tropical and citrus, fruits: grapefruit, starfruit, lemon; a touch grassy with fresh herbs and a whole lot of flint. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose, the finish is long and a touch creamy. This bottle was absolutely bangin’! Drink now through 2029. — a day ago
