Not overly complex but nonetheless delightful. Sweet Coonawarra dusty tannin! — 3 months ago

2014 on Thanksgiving 2025… what a special bottle which opened up nicely in the glass. — 7 months ago
One of the bolder Pinots. Notes of cherries, currants, and licorice. Light tannins. Very clean. Really good wine. — 9 months ago

Pretty Golden in color.
Nose of apples, light yeast, peaches, minerals, spices and light herbs.
Medium plus in body with medium acidity and soft bubbles.
Dry on the palate with limes, light grapefruits, herbs, earth, minerals, yeast, light brioche and white pepper.
Long finish with limes and sea salt.
This is a delicious Sparkling wine from Oregon. Rich and fruit forward. Easy drinking and complex. Nicely balanced with a nice mouthfeel.
Feels like Champagne, which is nice to see out of Oregon.
Will continue to age nicely in the next 7 years.
Robert Parker 96 points. Wine Spectator 92 points.
A good quality wine. Good by itself as a sipping wine or with food.
A blend of 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay. Aged on the lees for 10 years. Disgorged in 2021.
12.5% alcohol by volume.
92 points.

Fantastic. I've been looking for this style of Chenin Blanc for years. It is similar to an oaked Chardonnay. Loads of body and rich nose. Smooth mouth feel — 24 days ago
2021 vintage. Immediately hit with heavy aromas of oak, spice, berry, and a slight hint of leather. Shockingly smooth on the palette, flavors of dark cherry, with a lingering finish and defined texture. Paired well with NC Barbecue chicken and spicy potatoes. Decent go to Cab for under $25. — a month ago
Chalky. Classic Cabernet. Nice length. Some complexity. Costco. 19.99 — 4 months ago
Lots of mint on the nose (69% Cabernet Sauvignon; 31% Shiraz) together with blackberry. On the palate plenty of drive and power in this Cabernet Shiraz blend - layers of fruit, oak and spice. Rich and full bodied - the perfect accompaniment for a vintage Porterhouse steak - Waygu marbelling. Oak has integrated since the tasting 5 years ago. A pity that it takes 20 years for Yalumba’s Signature red to reach its peak but probably true. Interestingly the wine is matured for 22 months in American, French and Hungarian barrels coopered at Yalumba. This was the last bottle from a dozen originally purchased. — 5 months ago

2018 on the shelf at Dan’s with the 2022? Lovely wine, so subtle. Still prefer the Yeringberg! — 8 months ago
Unusually complex for Grenache at this price range. Light and slightly savory. Notes of ginger, lemongrass, and pepper right after opening. Followed by mint and licorice after it opened up. — 2 months ago
A fine Sonoma Cabernet deep purple in color. Tannins are smooth after nearly 5 years. Classic balance. April 2026. — 2 months ago
Right in its drinking window, menthol, eucalyptus and black fruits all in harmony with fine tannins. — 3 months ago
Very nice & drinkable, light bodied, fruity & oaky, sweet beginning and nice tart end but not high acid. Can’t get enough of this gentle wine. — 7 months ago
Sunday Lunch with Roast Lamb. Deep Ruby in colour - very dense. A very Margaret River Cabernet - nose with herbs and a little mint. Barb thought a bit of capsicum (bell pepper) on the nose. On the medium bodied balanced palate the tannins are quite soft yet persistent. Leeuwin Estate better known for its outstanding Art Series Chardonnay has been working hard with the red varieties and it shows. — 9 months ago

Nicely aromatic & restrained (for Australia) with purity of dark fruit (blackberries, plums, mulberry), nice depth and excellent tannins quality - juicy, polished, finely grained.
Very elegant & with beautiful balance between the ripeness & savoury notes.
A really lovely wine! — a year ago

My last bottle of 2013 Art Series Chardonnay. This remains one of the top Chardonnays in Australia together with Giaconda and Bindi Quartz Block for mine. As per previous note aromatics of white peach and cashew together with mealy notes. Not as full bodied as other Art Series but certainly doing well at 13 years of age. I often identify a dried pear character and this has hints of that. 98 points from James Halliday. — 5 days ago
