A blend of 40% Poulsard, 30% Pinot Noir and 30% Trousseau, the 2022 Rouge Arbois Tradition displays bright red fruits alongside spicy elements. Subtle herbaceous accents add complexity, attributable to the use of approximately 20% stems from the Pinot Noir and Trousseau during fermentation. 2006. Purchased a couple bottles at a Rosenthal wine dinner in 2014. Drank the first one in 2018 and really enjoyed it. Popped and poured this bottle to go with Pakistani Lamb Kebabs. Paired well, but was really only offering the savory side of its flavor profile. Two hours after dinner, the wine opened up and more tart red fruits filled in. Doesn’t really have the aged characteristics of an 18 year old wine. — 2 months ago

Our conductor Andris Nelsons is leading IVES (Three Places in New England, Orchestral Set No. 1), BEETHOVEN (Piano Concerto No. 3 in C Minor, Opus 37) and STRAUSS (Also sprach Zarathustra, Opus 30...aka 2001: A Space Odyssey, Stanley Kubrick❤️).

2015 vintage. Not in the same league as the 2016 and 2017, but nevertheless an attractive wine. Golden yellow. Honeyed nose with subtle hints of rosemary and fresh mint. Round mouthfeel, lacks a bit of tension, but charming. Good spicy length. — 3 years ago
