One of the best wines and Cabernets in the tasting. Made by Sam Kaplan. 95-97 with 10 years of proper cellaring.
It is blended from the following sites; Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard, Beckstoffer Las Piedras Vineyard, Vine Hill Ranch Vineyard, Weitz Vineyard, and Oakville Ranch Vineyard. Not inexpensive $300.
The name, Memento Mori, is taken from an ancient Latin philosophy that reminds us of our mortality and the inevitability of death. So, forgo patience, I guess?

Lime zest, green apple, crushed stones. Great acid. — a month ago
Vintage 2019 | tasted blind | deep dark colour with a brown rim, cedar in smell and a hint of cassis and cherries, rounded taste, obviously too young but you realize this will develop further in a velvety structure. Very good effort, this Bordeaux blend from Germany. 18-20 m barrel aging. — 8 months ago
Very much enjoyed this! From Trader Joe’s — 5 months ago
Brioche, pears, with a nice bold, crisp touch. — 6 months ago
Color of dark purple, thick looking with decent legs. Nose of chocolate, dark fruits, strawberry, leather, some more blackberries, and fruit acidic note. Taste is smooth, quite mouthful and silky, slightly sweet with soft tannins, some more ripe grapes, borderline grape juice, vanilla, bitter graphite, and cocoa. Aftertaste shows some warmth, medium long. Just a bit watery. Easy to drink with flavors. Nice find at this price tag. — 3 years ago

Smoky reduction dissipates w air, but not much. An off-putting sweetness emerges like burnt coconut. Not flabby but could lose a few Kgs. — 8 days ago
