Foradori

Fontanasanta Vigneti Delle Dolomiti Nosiola 2022

First wine night back in Australia, but still talking Italian (first wine watching Sinner's win in Melbourne)
The white is spotless
The one and only dry nosiola to this level
If you put this bottle covered in a Burgundy tasting it wouldn't be easy to spot

Elegant, whispered, still young and long

Super clean, no sulphites
Fermented in amphora

Château Moulin de Tricot

Haut-Médoc Red Bordeaux Blend 2013

3rd in the Competition.... Dave Bishop paid $30+.... about typical for them, they buy good stuff struggle to every win.... I voted this as the best — 5 years ago

Single Block Release Block 1 Mornington Peninsula Pinot Noir 2012

Pale to Mid Crimson in colour. Red cherry and a tarry note . 80% whole bunch in the ferment. On the palate red and black cherry (flesh and skins). A fuller style - medium weight + palate. Mornington Peninsula is very good for Pinot Noir and this was the first Pinot to win the prestigious Jimmy Watson Trophy for Best One Year old Dry Red at the Royal Melbourne Wine Show. Delectable this is the Single Block Pinot Noir not the Syrah. — 4 years ago

Cuvée Mélanie Côte de Brouilly Gamay 2016

Really love this. The “green” dimension I have long disliked that I associated with gamay is extremely muted here, and everything else is in balance and delightful. Total win from Weygandts wine club. — 5 years ago

Ultreia Saint Jacques Mencía 2017

Absolute gusto! Prior: After I Practiced my civil duties , I wanted to ease back in my sipping seat to do some deflecting/reflecting on the last 4 years of this political climate. I can only hope for the best man to win but with this tasty wine in my glass I don't need to stress about who wins because what difference will it really make?! Happy election day everyone!🖐️ — 4 years ago

Bourgogne Chardonnay 2017

Too good to be true. It’s like they made this just to win the Bourgogne game. Taste like declassified everything noble. All over the place insanity just brimming with too much character to pinpoint. Value is a crazy understatement. — 5 years ago
