Lovely Merlot! Cigar smoke and toasted oak on nose; full body, dry, smooth, complex. Loaded with black and blue fruits. — 10 days ago

Kaiserstuhl Baden Spätburgunder 2018

2018. Bright cherry fruit with some spice notes. Lighter body and medium acidity. One of tastiest $20-25 Pinot Noirs I’ve had! Would love to have a stockpile because it should pair with a wide range of foods. — 8 days ago

Domaine du Chateau de Meursault

Meursault-Perrieres 1er Cru Chardonnay 2014

White fruit, some lemon too, honey, a touch buttery and oaky. Palate is fairly wide, acidity is medium as well as the length. It’s nice but a Perrières should have more class and finesse.

Fruits blancs, un peu de citron, beurre, miel, léger boisé. Bouche pleine, assez large, acidité correcte, longueur moyenne, c’est bien sans avoir la droiture, finesse et classe de ce premier cru d’exception. 88-89
