Ruby in color with a wide purplish rim, and medium plus intensity.
Pretty nose of black fruits with cedar, vanilla, chocolates, mediterranean spices, eucalyptus, tobacco, herbs and black pepper.
Medium plus in body and smooth, with medium acidity and long legs.
Dry on the palate with black currants, blueberries, blackberries, cooked plums, cedar, tobacco leaf, light earth, herbs, chocolates, spices and peppercorn.
Nice length on the finish with fine grained tannins and tangy cherries.
This is a delicious Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley. Fruit forward and elegant. Spicy and entertaining.
Good right out of the bottle and better with airtime.
Complex and engaging, with a soft mouthfeel. Really enjoyed the nose here.
This 5 year old Cabernet based Bordeaux blend is already drinking beautifully, and will continue to age nicely in the next 7 to 10 years.
I've had a few different vintages of this Cabernet and it is very consistent.

Medium light garnet , quite wide terracotta rim . Top shoulder ullage . Slightly herbal , old mahogany, hickory , chestnut, minty , dried fruits with sous bois underneath, hoisin . On the palate this has some sweet red fruits , touch of coffee , old wood , earthy , meaty hints . Good acidity and slightly grippy tannins . Not bad length. This bottle shows surprisingly well considering its state , and is very drinkable . Drink now , as this deteriorated quite quickly once in the glass — a year ago
PnP. Drinking young. Very dark, thick red color. Medicinal tones, cedar, and dark cherries on the nose with some oak. Same on the palate. Seems higher than the 14.4 OH. Next to zero finish which is disappointing. Average Napa Cab right now and seems way overpriced at $60+. — 3 years ago
Everything you want in a Nebbiolo and a good value for the price .Lush tar and dried roses, cocoa powder, chalky tannins, damp brambles, a little ferrous, prune, blackberry, touch of vanilla. Love it. From Main Street Gourmet and Wine, Orleans. 12/05/20 — 6 years ago
Loved this wine in Maine 2019. Bought at grape d'vine. — 7 years ago
Knife-throwing act where the knives are carved from peppercorns and the target board is quilted cherry. Westworld's Clementine casually offers herself as a target, laughing and alternating between espresso and whiskey shots. — 7 years ago
Already so lovely, but still so young. Medium ruby red in the glass with long, lusty legs and a wide brim. The nose is exactly what you think a classic Left Bank Bordeaux should be. Cassis, plums, and tobacco immediately upon opening. New leather and oak with just the right amount of earth. Very nice.
Big, powerful, and virile. Amazing balance and purity for a wine so young. Still a bit tannic at times but decanting certainly helps with that. Pretty fruit on the palate with blackberries and cherries. Soft vanilla undertones from start to finish along with licorice and more earth on the tongue.
Very impressive with such depth and such personality. As good as this is today it will be so much better if you can show patience. Put these away and try your best to forget about them and you will be rewarded. — 4 months ago
Really likes this. Red fruit, a bit brambly, and spice — 6 months ago
Medium deep ruby , medium wide ruby rim. Slightly more generously fruited , compared to the 2011 . Blackcurrant , cassis, touches of spice , less austere or mineral . Quite round and ripe , rich on the mid palate , but without a lot of tannic structure , balanced acidity. Decent length , with a touch more tobacco and saline quality on the finish. This is drinking well now and will continue to show well over the next 8-10 years or so — 2 years ago
Tropical and waxy! — 5 years ago
Bright. Easy to drink gruner. — 6 years ago
Medium ruby , medium wide garnet rim . Quite open and exuberante , lots of sweet red cherry, raspberry and touch of menthol and sweet spices, hickory . Quite sweet profile. On the palate this has nice spice and menthol hints , sweet red cherry fruit , ripe tannins , but with good grip, quite gritty with good length . Balanced acidity , touch of alcohol noticeable . Overall quite sweetly red fruit focussed , pure and expressive. This is showing quite well , though still young and fruit focused. Probably better in 3-5 years and will continue to show well over the next 10 years or so . — 2 months ago

A very pretty color of ruby with a wide reddish/ brownish rim.
Fruity nose with raspberries, cherries, black currants, black plums, light oak, light vanilla, Mediterranean spices, licorice, chocolates, tobacco and herbs.
Medium bodied and smooth, with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with black currants, plums, cooked cherries, green herbs, oak, earth, light vanilla, peppercorn and tobacco leaf.
Tangy finish with fine grained tannins and cranberries.
This is a very tasty and interesting Sangiovese from Napa Valley. Nicely balanced, tangy and fruit forward. Soft and elegant.
Needs a few hours in the decanter to open up properly, smooth out, and remove some of the acidity. I really enjoyed it after 3 hours.
An interesting expression of Sangiovese. Feels like a blend of old and new worlds.
The high alcohol is very integrated, so watch out.
I had the 2017 before, and it is very consistent.
A good food wine, but good by itself as well. I paired it with cheeses and light appetizers. Will pair nicely with red sauce Italian dishes.
A blend of 96% Sangiovese and 4% Merlot. Aged in French oak barrels for 18 months (35% new).
14.9% alcohol by volume.

Dark core and wide bright rim. Great depth to this. Slight oak but flourish of blueberry and dark fruit followed by leathery smoke and a long finish. Alcohol is mild but present. I thought it was balanced. — 7 years ago
Love this red blend! I let it air for 2 hours before drinking. — 8 years ago
