Was looking for a Pinot with a bit more structure and opened up this - man, this has evolved beautifully over the last 2y! Showing such finesse & elegance right now, the tannins so fine & smooth and the fruit shining. This is really a beauty to open up now.
Red berries with undergrowth, some tree bark, a hint of exotic spice & orange zest, maybe a whiff of dark cherry. So fresh, so juicy, so enticing!!
On the palate this sings! Impeccably balanced, with great depth & elegance.
Wow. This is quite profound and a stunner!

Pours a lemon yellow with some viscocity. Aromas of riper stone fruits, lemon pith, white truffle, green underbrush, with white pepper in the background. Palate with medium body, good concentration. More stone fruits, white pepper, hint of that mossy character; finish is long. High acid. Really nice. — 4 months ago

Domaine Jean-Marc Bernhard Alsace Grand Cru Riesling ‘Wineck-Schlossberg’ 2019: Light-bodied. Vibrant acidity. Refreshing taste. Classic Riesling nose with palate flavors of apple, apricot, lemon & minerals. Lovely off-dry finish. All in all, a clean & bright Alsace Riesling; very pleasant, very versatile, good value. Happy Saturday to all! Cheers🍷 — 4 years ago
I really need to stop storing whites in my food fridge when they seem to always open once reaching a cellar temp. Here's a fun little field blend that takes to warming well. Chardonnay, Weissburgunder, Grüner Veltliner, Roter Veltliner and Riesling. What I'd call a silver-skinned nose - green herbal scents mixed into flint and smoke. A little bit of texture and bite, interplay of high acid and cream. Lands nicely with apples, pears, kumquat, and starfruit and that little bite which I love. — 5 years ago
Amazing Austrian Riesling. Refreshing, somewhat on the bitter side. — 6 years ago
