Strong smell... light taste of french oak. Great taste — 8 months ago
Nose: olive, brine, bay leaf, fermenting vegetation, charcoal, some very slight (and very dark) fruit. Taste: good. Medium weight plus, a little grippy. Specific flavors less pronounced in the glass, it just tastes like a solid, subtle European style cab. This is good. Not a “deal”, but quality, worth the price @ $18. I prefer a bit more purple fruit and silky Napa goodness myself, but happy with it. — 2 years ago
Crisp start, citrus and faint apricot, then round and fat, with a mineral finish. Excellent — 3 months ago

This is a BIG Pinot. Big, fruit dominated nose, with a little herbal spice on the back end, with hints of black olive and rose permeating throughout. Big palate and body, with an herbal, hay or thyme palate, tannic, with a salinity that’s prominent, with black olive, some tar, and even a smokiness hitting the end, with dark cherry, plum, and a peppery spice showing up loud on the palate. Really good entry to South African Pinot. — 6 months ago

on first sip, light bodied pinot noir. it has some cherry flavors and notes of hazelnut and black pepper.
it filled out overtime to a more lush and fruity pinot noir that cuts through the juicy, fat of a carbonara. — 2 months ago
