I really love Dauvissat’s 07’s. Les Clos is totally in the zone showing incredible power and striking intensity flaunting its signature crushed oyster shell minerality and sea spray salinity with yellow fruit and intriguing flavors of beeswax and lavender honey. The palate shows superb integration and excellent weight and midpalate depth, with such a regal texture and mouthfeel. Its focused finish just goes on and on. A stunning Les Clos that has a long life ahead ✨ — 11 days ago
Call rosé pet nat. Taste like spring smells and bit sweet but taste super dry. Medium amount of bubble. Note of flower raspberry and grapefruit. — 11 days ago
Translucent garnet color. Primary aromas of tangy red berries. Typical wooded Burgundy farming, and undergrowth notes, humus. The tannins are finely integrated. Light to medium-bodied wine supported by a balancing freshness. Good quality, but it remains expensive for what it is compared to neighboring regions: Sancerres, Coteaux champenois for example.
Robe grenat translucide. — 10 days ago
2013 - In a beautiful place now. All the typical elements of a great Chablis riding a fine bead of acidity. Light as a feather. Long and lovely. Best bottle yet for 2022. — 13 days ago
What a nose. Just sick. Black cherry compote, black cherry skins and intense voluminous minerality. Gorgeous raspberry tones. Darker ones. Haunting. So complex and ethereal. Leather. Truffle. A 9.8 nose. Shows the pedigree of the site and the old vines. Magic. What a palate. Superb concentration, freshness and finesse. Long, compact and nimble. Terrific structure and palate intensity. Amazing fruit soak and just a finish that really spreads on the palate. Velvety and sweet tannins. Astounding length. This is ready to go and has just entered its drinking window. A wow wine. — 9 days ago
Beautiful aromas of red fruit, purple flowers and earth. Bright cherry and strawberry fruit flavors with notes of truffle and just a touch of baking spices. Crunchy texture and medium body. Elegant and bold. Beautiful acidity. This Beaujolais has filled out nicely with a little bit of bottle age. — 10 days ago
Phenomenal. In a great place right now, minerals and stone fruit. — 10 days ago
