Les Serpentières Savigny-lès-Beaune 1er Cru Pinot Noir 2017

Very nice aromatically on cork pop. An absolutely beautiful pairing with a perfectly roast chicken with lots of jus (no surprise there). Lots of earthiness with some restrained dark red fruit coming through. Nice long finish with good acid. — 7 days ago

Séchet Chablis 1er Cru Chardonnay 2008

Light yellow gold. Bright fruit forward nose. Notes of lemon and apricot, wet gravel stone, some honey and a delicious spice. Fine grained acidity hits the mouth and makes an impact. Great nose powers up over the evening. Still young and needs more time to improve. Lighter in the mid palate but still outperforms expectations. — 18 days ago

Les Passetemps Santenay 1er Cru Pinot Noir 2016

Red berries, a touch of cinnamon and spices. Fresh, elegant, lots of energy, nice soft tannins, well balanced, the most approchable and less powerful of all the premier crus from JM Vincent, very good, drank in a flash. 89-90

Fruits, rouges, touche de canelle. Frais, fin, énergique avec des tannins présents mais tellement approchables en ce moment, bien équilibré et le moins puissant des premiers crus de ce domaine, très bon, ça se boit tout seul. 89-90

Les Grands Épenots Pommard 1er Cru Pinot Noir 2010

Elegant and well balanced. Nuanced and delicate nose. Decanted for 3 hours. No real Burg barnyard at the open - but it opened nicely - drinking really well. — 2 days ago

Granit 30 Cornas Syrah 2012

45+ minute decant and could have benefitted from more. Mix of red and purple colors. Amazing nose! Floral, earth, cow shit, and smoke. Resembled some very high end Bordeaux’s. Wine gets interesting from there. Lots of spice, minimal fruit, and a smooth texture. Short finish. Pretty good value and I want to try again. — 2 days ago

Les Narvaux Meursault Chardonnay 2007

2007 Vintage. 13.5% Alcohol. Pleasantly surprised it was still hanging in with good acidity and citrus, yet starting to honey. Drink up. — 5 days ago

Chassagne-Montrachet Chardonnay 2016

Wow. This btl showed spectacularly. Pop and pour, maybe 45 min slow ox. On the nose: this screams Chassagne (my wife said she felt transported back to Burgundy): soft chalk, limestone, ripe apple, lemon, slate...just amazing complexity. On the palate: fantastic acidity, lemon oil, tangerine, lemon custard, ginger, slate, limestone, salt...a plethora of flavors. Just lingers on the well put-together. — 19 days ago

@Bob McDonald the cork says VINCENT on one side, so I think: "this world was never meant for one as beautiful as you", haha. I can only afford the Bourg Blanc anymore, so that's the only 2018 from this producer I have :(
