Taste: smooth, rich, creamy mouthcoating wine with blackberry/dark cherry, dark chocolate, earth, tobacco, baking spice, and a cedar/graphite medium plus finish with some slight dusty tannins. Expensive but worth it. This Bordeaux is just right now. Paradigmatic Pauillac with deep brooding flavor and bitter finish. Tannins are perfectly smooth. Perfect with steak or on its own while listening to music while contemplating the meaning of life. Deep Ruby red color with aromas of red and black fruits with oak and tobacco spice, blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petite Verdot and Cabernet Franc. On the palate flavors of black raspberry, currants and black cherry with licorice, toasty oak and tobacco. Fine lush tannins, long finish ending with fruit, oak and earthy tobacco spice.
