Good bourgogne styled Chardonnay which really shows itself warming up a bit. — 4 months ago
Always a classic. Still a (relative) value. Balance, structure, texture, tension, integration and length. Just great winemaking. Benchmark Chard. — 8 months ago
Top of the mountain village wine. — 19 days ago
This is very good for not much aging and the price. Lovely nose and mouthfeel. Cherry, with a bit of funky farmyard on the nose. Superb. — 5 months ago
Pale to mid crimson in colour with a tawny edge. Pouring from the decanter- quite tawny. Earthy fungal notes - a touch of animale. A wow palate particularly for a Village wine (actually more of a Premier Cru quality). Totally integrated oak with a fleshy sweetness. - this wine would last till its 20th Birthday. A fabulous Burgundy without the depth and complexity of a Grand Cru but at a fraction of the price of a GC. Made by the late, great Denis Mortet before his untimely passing. Probably the best village red burgundy I’ve ever tasted. — 10 months ago
Established in the village of Marsannay in the 1960's by Bernard Coillot, father of owner Christophe Coillot. Deep Ruby red color with aromas of berry fruit and spice. On the palate flavors of cherry and blackberry with notes of fig, mushroom and spice. Fine soft tannins, long finish ending with fruit, spice and earthy mineral character. Very Nice! — 20 hours ago
