Wow. Such a nice wine coming from humble origins. Needs some air to express itself. On the nose yellow lilies, apple blossom, almost a hint of jasmine, just ripe yellow apple, just ripe pear, a touch of fresh vanilla. On the palate, this really shines. Ripe orchard fruits, rich without being cloying. Blind I would place this as a village Meursault. Yellow apple, pear, touch almond, buttery and rich texture with minimal oak, crème brûlée; I’m assuming from skillful lees management . Good acidity, decent length. 13 abv. 24 usd at the grocery store. I haven’t seen ratings anywhere near where I’ve placed this, but maybe this is a product of a good vintage? Either way, huge fan — 8 months ago

2009 vintage. Completely unfamiliar with this producer (which I love new producers). Opened but not decanted. Age appropriate color. Variety of tea scents in the nose muddled with a modicum of drought dirt/earth. Light body. Tasted 20 minutes and 1.5 hours after opening. Total transference of the nose into the flavor profile-no surprises. Wine seemed to gain more strength/concentration of finish and dirtied up a tad but not more body or complexities. Doubtful another hour open/more air would have unlocked an achievement or improved the standing in the community. Will say it was a pleasure tasting a Vosne-Romanée vineyard with some age on it that was on the lighter side of the ledger vs the usual super intense. 11.28.25. — 7 months ago
This is surprisingly good! Nose screams Pinot from the Cote de Beaune. Sappy, sultry cherry, spice, moist limestoney loam. Soft textured and focused in the mouth. Good ripeness and zingy acids. Just enough super-soft tannin to provide some structure. Nice length. Terrific value (two words you don’t often hear when a Burgundy is the subject). — 4 years ago

Rich deep, reddish brown colour w lots o dried tomatoes n some acidity. Not much red fruit left. Slim n not very big. Interesting. — 7 years ago
For $18, a great buy. Fresh, young, well balanced. Great acidity. Nothing complex. No overwhelming or particular fruit. But very nice and super easy to drink. Great weekday wine. — 4 years ago

Ravishing and complex despite the humble appellation. Aromas of Meyer lemon, spiced pear, hazelnut, vanilla bean and honey. Grilled pineapple flavors on the mid palate with salted caramel and wet stones on the finish. The saline lemon flavors echo throughout. Both voluminous and supple, showing ample ripe fruit but retaining a refined sense of nerve and minerality. One of the most thoroughly seductive and satisfying white Burgundy experiences I’ve had in a long time for less than $30, but certainly it is wonderful regardless of price point. — 7 years ago
Pear, quince marmalade and lime curd. Nice youthful, floral notes and spicy finish. — 7 years ago

One of the most peculiar situation in Burgundy
In the producer's area rhe grapes are full of nobel rot(botrytis as stated on the label) and you can feel that very much in the wine with the dry apricot scent and flavour
The wine was in the cellar for a while and once opened it took very little to express its best
Amazing wine, i must get more of their wines but prices have gone sky rocketing
Never-ending aftertaste, i can still feel it the morning after — 23 days ago
