Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of 90min. The 2019 “Serralunga d’Alba” pours a garnet color with a transparent core; medium+ viscosity with no staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with beautiful notes of red and black fruit: Morello cherry, fresh raspberries, pomegranate, orange zest, fresh cut red roses, talcum powder, tar and dry gravelly earth. On the palate, the wine is dry with high tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long. Massolino is on a roll! Drink now with patience through 2044+. — 22 days ago

今が2025年なので、21年前のワイン。

色はガーネット色になっていないように見える。
香りも熟成的なニュアンスはなく、とてもきれい。

飲んでみると、ドライローズ？アセロラ？

ネッビオーロとは思えない香り。ドルチェットもドルチェットらしからぬ香りだったが、その時と同じ香りがする。ジュゼッペマスカレッロ香とも言うべき香りなのか。。。

タンニンは完全に溶け込んでいて、澄み切ったというか、透明感のある果実味。
軽やかだが、緻密で焦点があった感じがする。
エレガントというかとにかく優しく繊細。
ブラインドではバローロ と言えないと思う。
唯一無二のワイン。

ちなみに、最後にオリも一切なし。本当に21年前のワインだったのだろうか。。。
