Cedar, brewers yeast, dried roses, concrete. -very dry. You can sense it’s dryness on the nose. Slightly muted blue and red fruit. Gets better with air. Think this would be great with age. In 10 years, smoke and more roses. — a month ago
Super Nebbiolo. As delicious as any 2016 Barolo’s and no further analysis needed. The material here is stronger than most other’s Barolo cru’s. There is a sense of commitment, seriousness and properness that is uncommon. — 3 months ago
Quite nice. Great value. Uncommon grape for California. — 5 months ago
light, fruity, and very approachable for an IPA. the hops are friendly and mild - the belgian style that the brewers say they’re aiming for really comes through. a good one for a reluctant IPA drinker, and i enjoyed it too! — 21 days ago
Return to a well balanced quality wine after an off 2015 vintage. Great floral nose. Smooth bold fruit forward palate with mouthwatering acidity and with mild lingering tannins. Very pleasant uncommon blend of Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot — a month ago
Only deep purple hue. Rich jamminess that has tons of black fruit. A touch of prune that I’m not fond of tasting but not uncommon in Dry Creek. Drank over three days and held up well increasing now and plate complexity. Drink any you have soon though as you don’t want the fruit to fade — 4 months ago
This is Carignan and Lledoner Pelut (aka “hairy Grenache” - an uncommon mutation of Grenache). The wine is certainly young, and I think a few years of bottle age will truly allow this to shine. It opened up nicely after about an hour of air. High toned cherry and strawberry with a persistent acid and mineral streak. The wine finishes with the same noticeable herbaceous quality that I find in all of Lubbe’s wines. — a month ago
One of my favorite wines from Mexico. A red blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Syrah from high altitude vines on clay-gravel soil and a Mediterranean micro-climate. At a glance it is deep ruby; scents of blackberries, wet oak, and hints of spice. Sweet berry flavors with hints of vanilla on the pallet, followed by vibrant acidity and a tannic finish. A robust and unique wine with character from uncommon terroir ready to be explored. — 5 months ago

Happy New Year!!!! I love the owl with diamond eyes. Uncommon Pallette you have done it again. Cab Francs aren't easy to find but I do enjoy them. — 19 days ago
