Very nice and rather smooth Grüner Veltliner. 9 points because I line it, not because it is a typical wine. On the contrary, the wine is not „peppery“ at all and only shows comparably low acidity. 14 % alcohol are also rather uncommon and perhaps the reason I really enjoyed drinking the 2020 vintage. — 4 years ago
Another nice surprise of our cellar clearing: the 3 litre bottle vintage 2003 was very nice. I doubt that the wine would benefit from getting older. The wine had a very clear red, smell of berries and a smooth and surprisingly fresh taste. Everyone enjoyed it! — 6 years ago
Very nice Viognier - highly recommended!

Cantina Santa Maria la Palma is about to become my favourite vineyard. Akenta is a reasonably priced sparkling wine (Spumante) made of Vermentino grapes that are typical for Sardegna. Although prefer the even cheaper Aragosta Spumante Akenta is a nice extra dry Spumante that goes well with seafood and/or fish. Definitely worth a try. — 3 years ago
This is perhaps the best Sauvignon Blanc I have ever tasted. In fortunately it is almost one of the most expensive (48 Euros / 0.7 l bottle). Still, if I did fancy Sauvignon Blanc this would be a buy. However, I prefer other grapes. Bottom-line, I highly recommend this exceptional wine to those who fancy Sauvignon B. Perfect smell, very balanced with almost optimal flavours. A BIG wine, as promised by the „Opus-Oskar“ seal of the vineyard that is reserved only for the cream of the crop. — 5 years ago
Another nice Vermentino from the Santa Maria la Palma cooperative. Very typical flavours with a touch of ananas. Good price/quality ratio. — 3 years ago
This Vermentino Frizzante is rather light (11% alc.), yet tasteful. It is perfect with pasta & pizza. — 3 years ago
Although still very young this Pinot Noire already shows a lot of potential. The price/pleasure ratio is rather good.
Typical smell cherries, quite some tennins but most of all melting in your mouth. Solid nine points for me. — 5 years ago
Unbelievable - just tried a 1992 (14% alc). Still drinkable after 27 years! I should have cleared my cellar a few years earlier - would have been a masterpiece at its peak! — 6 years ago

One of the best Vermentinos, four consecutive wins of Best Vermentino by the Italian Sommelier Association. Very typical taste, yet smoother than most other Vermentinos. — 2 years ago
