After the surprisingly 1982 this afternoon! Now the 2006!
Decanted 1 hour!
Wonderful nose with ripe red fruits, dark cherry, blackberries, violets, herbs, tobacco and very fine cedar notes, full bodied on the palate, intense ripe layered fruit flavors, dried berries, black tea, ripe fine tannins, juicy, fine acidity, very good balance, long aftertaste! Great Brunello ! 97 DSP — a day ago
Strong fruity aroma, inky dark appearance, super jammy with light tannins. Fabulous. — 21 days ago
Again. Always terrific. Love the purity of the fruit, the balance, and that fine Pinot nose. @Lyle Fass — 3 days ago
I don’t drink very much cognac and can’t remember when or where I picked up this bottle, but a small pour sounded good to end a cold and snowy day. Light in color. Body feels light at first, but gains viscosity. Spicy, oaky, and a little astringent on the finish. It reminded more of some really good scotch I’ve had than of some slightly sweeter cognacs. I liked it a lot. — 17 days ago

Strong fruit aromas, dark but translucent purple color, intense flavors of plum and strawberries, very light but well balanced tannins and chewy finish with significant residual sugars. — 14 days ago
