Christmas Day 2022 opening wine. Excellent. Love the profile of this bottling. Toasted while showing beautiful fruit. — a month ago

Stellar. Toasted hazelnuts, lemon curd, methyl anthranilate. Super fine bubbles that take you to the still zesty ripe Meyer Lemon finish. I recall when we had a bottle of this upon release I preferred the freshness then. This has been stored in our eurocave since we bought it from the reps at a party @sigh in Sonoma (Highly recommended btw - Thanks Jayme!) Here’s to 20 more years Mia ❤️ — 6 months ago

Served slightly chilled. Popped and poured; no formal notes. The wine pours a deep golden color with an almost oily looking viscosity. Attractive sherry-like characteristics with fascinating notes of nuts, toasted coconut and marshmallow, lemon bar and black lemon (it’s a wild combination of the two). The texture is sort of oily/waxy…hard to describe with accuracy and the finish is long and saline with bright acidity that gives this a surprising freshness. Honestly, I feel my words cannot possibly describe these wines with the tasting notes they deserve. Drink now or through the return of Halley’s Comet. — a month ago
Smooth red blend, yes for both of us. — 5 months ago
I just had a glass but want to record this for possible future purchase to try again. It surprised me how good it was. — a month ago
Sleep much better than I expected it’s the Grateful Dead addition and it is terrific big-time fruit taste ! — 4 months ago
Absolutely stunning. Hallucinatory fruit. Poached pear, baked green apple, stewed quince, nutty flavors, toasted poppy seeds, grains, and just a beautiful savory finish that is so persistent. Very long, and then a high tone perfume sneaks in. Peony and exotic flowers peek through on the finish. — 5 months ago
