[Aglianico, Negroamaro, Primitivo] Tobacco, allspice and black fruits, ripe but hot heavy, good acidity and balance, great drinker and solid bargain. — a month ago
3 estates and blends of Sangiovese, Merlot & Cab. So smooth and beautiful; light in color — 6 months ago
Tasted over 2 days. Not much different after a couple hours of air. Solid traditional style Barolo. Much more open then when tried 3 years ago. Shy on the nose with earthy dark fruit, truffle, leather which were also predominant on the palate along with undergrowth, tobacco, and balsamic. Balanced acidity and soft yet expanding tannins. Finish is long with lingering tannins and an explosion of minerals. This is a hearty rather than a fruity Barolo. — 9 months ago

Bought at Pine Orchard 3/23, $22. Very full bodied. Rich flavors, subtle tannins. — 6 months ago
Medium purple in color; raspberries, cherries, and dried herbs on the nose; low acidity; medium minus tannins; tastes like tart cherry jolly ranchers, raspberry sauce, and black tea with a long fruity finish. There may be a little residual sugar in this wine, but it's still very good. It's easy drinking for anyone that likes sour candies. It could use a little more acidity. Nellie doesn't like it because it's sour. I love it. — 10 months ago

Tasting notes of cherry and brown sugar with high tannins and a zippy finish. Really good if you’re looking for a bright, straightforward wine that can pair well with a lot — a month ago
