Lime and cherimoya. Yum! — 2 years ago
Big - lots of whole cluster - quite fruit driven. Just 24 cases made. 13%. This will need so much more time for the fruit to mellow out. Made in honor of Grahams daughter birthday. I hope she enjoys it once she is 16 ahem. I mean 21. Quite herbaceous now. Cardamom, elderberry, celery. Not necessarily my style but this could be quite nice in years to come - made to age! — 4 months ago
Nice wine. Has a kind of soft roundness to it maybe from the Acacia barrels in which it was partially aged? Wouldn’t necessarily guess gruner. Kind of Chablisienne. Minerality and ripping acid on the back end. Enjoying it more two days after opening.. — 5 months ago
Just tasted with Graham! The best Riesling producer in the US by far also makes fantastic Pinot. His goal is to do everything he can to tamper exuberant fruit and make a balanced wine which is very Burgundian in style but still has a sense of place. In this case the Santa Inez Valley. Cherry, orange zest, earthy. Young obviously just give it a couple of years and this will really shine. — 4 months ago
