Wow. What a gem. We're offering this wine at only $27 - for Spring Mountain fruit that comes from the 6.25 acres Smith Madrone has planted with Riesling at the top of Spring Mountain. Incredibly balanced wine. I get lemon and peach with a surprisingly creamy finish that cuts the natural acidity.

Caramel, ripe fruits, apples, peach, tinned pineapples; buttery texture, enough acidity and a decent finish.

A bracing, briny mélange of melon, lemon, lime, and green apple. Fruit picked from 40-year-old vines...Remains one of the better (Californian) dry Rieslings I've had to date

2013 Vintage - Very pale green color with wet stone. lime, stone fruit, quince and a hint of lychee aromas. On the palate medium-bodied, elegant, and harmonious with mouth watering acidity and a great texture with very appealing white peach, lime, melon, a bit of lemon and apricot flavors and a complementary minerality. Lingering finish.
