Heavy cassis with notes of blackberry and spices are the star here. Somewhat musty nose. Paired well with gravy laden pork tenderloin. — 3 years ago
See previous notes from 21 weeks ago. The warm 2015 vintage giving more tropical fruit flavours like pineapple. Still vibrant and fresh with medium minus acid. Great to drink now. Can’t see the point of extended cellaring. Looking forward to trying some 2014 Premier Crus from young Benjamin Leroux who is a rising star in Burgundy. — 4 years ago

A pleasant nose of brioche bread opens over a fine bubbled, straw colored body. The flavor is very dry, with a prominent acidity and notes of star fruit and wet slate. VERY dry, but a nice champagne. — 3 years ago
We roasted a duck, so I immediately went here. As Burgundian as I’ve experienced from USA though lacking a tad in complexity. Extraordinarily light. Nose is a cohesive, complex elegant perfume of rose and unripened cherry; the star of the show. Palette shows fresh cranberry, mint. Soft but expressive acid. — 4 years ago

2009. Similar notes to the 2005. Less eucalyptus notes, more dried fruit. Inky color, iron minerality, cassis driven, pretty fruit, tannins still grippy. Tobacco and mint on the finish. Cork disintegrated while opening, but juice intact! 😁 — 23 days ago
