The 2016 is a blend of 55% Cabernet Sauvignon and 45% Merlot. Deep Ruby with aromas of Deep Ruby with aromas of dark fruits, cigar box spice and cedar notes. On the palate flavors of fresh blackberry and black cherry with cacao, tobacco and complex spice. Youthful firm tannins, well balanced on long finish, ending with earthy mineral elegance. Very nice. Tasted ’15 and ’16 side by side, ’16 slightly better, will age well. — 5 days ago
Smelling this wine put such a smile on my face. A heavenly cacophony of dark red fruit, vanilla and cedar. On the palate, this is a very full bodied, virile Saint Emilion with lots of red fruits - cranberry, blackberry, cassis - and a wave of strong espresso, dark chocolate and vanilla.
Still incredibly youthful, very dry with abundant tannin and pitch-perfect acidity. Finish is very long. Impressive and seriously enjoyable stuff. — 12 days ago
I love me some Vice Versa. The only thing better than the wine might be the people! Samantha and Patrice are amazing people, and Maayan and team Atelier Melka need no introductions. I am so happy to watch them succeed. Having purchased an estate property last year, we can’t wait to visit them in the future. Ok, back to the wine. While “im”patiently awaiting my single vineyard designates to age I am enjoying two of their lines, Le Petit Vice and the Napa Valley blend. While I prefer the 15s and 16s to the 17, the Napa Valley blend never fails to impress. More tasting notes next time. — 11 hours ago
I always love drinking this. A crazy sick value, an early drinker, consistent. Year in year out.
Nose is apricot skin. Almost a kiss of old Rieslingy aromatics. Super integrated. Lovely.
Palate is apricot and a kiss of honey. Pleasantly but not over the top rich. That’s the style. Juicy. Great acidic balance.

Having had the coveted 2005 vintage just a few months ago, ‘04 is far more open and rewarding today. So seductive and captivating. Smoked meats, black fruits, balsamic glaze and hints of roasted sage leaves and tobacco. The tannins are integrated beautifully and the finish shows wonderful finesse, elegance and length. Gorgeous now but will continue to improve over the next 8-10 years. — 6 days ago
1hr+ decant, would benefit from more. Dark red color. Nose was fairly tight, but contained dark fruit and tar. Wine displayed excellent texture and medium body. More fruit forward with cherries than French terroir. Medium plus finish. Always enjoyable and developed nicely with more air. Started at 94 and ended at 95. — 6 days ago

This is my 3rd and the last bottle over the past year. It definitely sits at its plateau now and fully awake. Difficult to say when the drinking window will close down.
Lots of energy and precision. Cabernet Sauvignon dominant. Perfumed black currant jam with leaves. Complex tertiary aromas make a beautiful bouquet. Balance of tannins, fruits and acidity at its perfection. Tannins have soften but not yet faded away.
Undoubted 2nd Growth quality. — 9 days ago
