Mostly Sangiovese with splash of Cab, deep Ruby color with aromas of black fruits and spice. On the palate flavors of black cherry with tobacco and earthy floral tones. Fine tannins, vivid acidity, ok balanced, medium finish ending with earthy mineral character. Good value! — 3 years ago
Biodynamic Pinot Blanc with a splash of Auxerrois.
Fresh nose, herby, salty, mineral with the typical Alsace note of summer meadow & ripe orchard fruit.
Nice mouthfeel, a bit rounder & creamier yet beautifully balanced with zesty acidity, ripe pears, Mirabelle plums and orange zest. Finished off with a mineral, salty, stony note.
Very nice for summer terrace sipping but also a great food wine! — 4 years ago
Made with fruit from Tignanello estate, mostly Sangiovese with a splash of Cab Sauv, and a few others, aged in French and Hungarian oak for 12 months, cooler vintage than ‘17, lighter fruit character. Deep Ruby with aromas of red berry fruits with notes of floral and sweet spices. On the palate flavors of raspberry, cherry and red plum with licorice, cacao and vanilla oak. Firm rich tannins, long finish, ending with fruit, toasty vanilla and earthy tobacco. Good now but will improve over next 5 years. — 4 years ago

Blend of Cab Sauv, Petit Verdot, & splash of Merlot; estate-owned vineyards Rutherford, Napa, St. Helena & Stag's Leap District. Just opened, 14 years in the bottle after couple of years in the barrel! Still tasting well, young & juicy, should easily last another decade, but nice now. Deep Ruby, dark fruits, spice, complex nose. Palate reflects juicy rich berry fruits, well structured harmonious wine. Fine soft rich tannins, long finish ending with fruit, tobacco and earthy tones. Wow! — 10 months ago

Château dates back to 1560, records suggest it might go back to 12th century making it one of oldest estates in the heart of the Châteauneuf-du-Pape AOC region near Avignon. Just getting good now, will age well. — 3 years ago
This is a delicious Bordeaux blend from Columbia Valley in Washington State.
Very dark in color, and looks very young.
Full-bodied, smooth and bold, with medium acidity and long legs.
Dry and fruity on the palate with nice complexity.
Showing blackberries, black currants, plums, cooked cherries, raisins, dried figs, vanilla, cedar, licorice, cola, chocolates, tobacco, herbs, spices, earth and coffee.
Long finish with round tannins and tangy cherries.
This 8 year old is peaking now, and will continue to drink nicely in the next 5 years.
Smooth and elegant. Rich and extracted, with a great mouth feel.
Good by itself or with food. A great wine to sip on and talk about.

Needs 3 hours to open up properly, but good right out of the bottle as well.
I paired it with a Charcuterie board of meats and cheeses.
A blend of 57% Cabernet Sauvignon, 18% Petit Verdot, 17% Merlot, 7% Cab Franc and a splash of Malbec. Winemaker is Philippe Melka.
15.4% alcohol by volume.

This current vintage, 2020, is the best I’ve had over the last few. This funky, crunchy blend of mostly Carignan with a splash of Pais, has been a consistent favorite in my house for its immense drinkability, freshness, and individuality. This wine scratches a specific itch every time. — 5 years ago

Dark cherry, blackberry, with a little pepper. The splash of Malbec removes the fruit forward. — a year ago
i had this vermouth with sesame balls. i added seltzer as i drank more. it was light, herbaceous, notes of chamomile and a splash of lemon. the lemon became more present as the seltzer was added. — 2 years ago
Blend of Mourvèdre (about 75%) and Grenache with a splash of Cinsault and Carignan in this ripe and spicy wine from one of smallest appellations in France. Deep Ruby with aromas of ripe black fruits and floral spice. On the palate flavors of plum and black currant with black pepper and herbs. Lively tannins, medium+ finish ending with fruit and spice. Nice value! — 4 years ago
1997 and holding up very well. Brisket, prune and baked plum, graphite sparkles, dried red currant, crumbly rose petal, cedar sawdust and baked black currant. Rich and half dried black cherry, similar with black currant, velvety thick robe of tannin, dark chocolate with dried raspberries, violets and cinnamon, fresh raspberry, mild black pepper, coffee splash and long long graphite shine. Amazed at the quality here, and stunned by the longevity.

A gorgeous limpid nose of oyster shells, delicate citrus and a splash of seashore salinity. As it develops there’s a note of stone fruit and a great understated power. Beautiful clarity and precision and length. This is a light yet profound wine. Classic Raveneau. — 5 years ago
Light white, nothing special. Got from Splash wines at $4/bottle so price is right — 6 years ago

Really dark fruit and a splash of mint. To quote Led Zeppelin and the legendary @Scott@Mister A’s-San Diego , you gotta whole lotta oak, you gotta whole lotta oak 🎶
