Seven Daughters

Gerrie Cellars

Seven Hills Vineyard Red Blend 2016

Cigar box - my kind of waft!

Stewed prune, cranberry, cherry, cedar wrapped blackberry. Some medium to heavy weight. I have had several vintages and this is the oldest, and easiest drinking now. Bang for the buck - WA wine is fantastic.

During Channing daughters virtual wine tasting for fresh air home benefit. Very nice, light, can really taste the strawberry. We had the 2019. — 20 days ago

Seven Oaks Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon

A great discovery. Soft in mouth for a Cabernet Sauvignon. Consistency reminiscing a California Pinot. Robust oak and wild fruit accents. A good experience — 20 days ago

Snakes & Ladders Sauvignon Blanc 2019

Delectable Wine
9.0

The 2019 Snakes & Ladders consists of Sauvignon Blanc from the Citrusdal Mountains. It has a potent bell pepper and gooseberry nose that maybe lacks the complexity of John Seccombe’s Chenins. The palate is well balanced with good weight. Bitter lemon, orange peel and light saline notes define the finish. This is a fine Sauvignon Blanc that should drink well for 3–6 years. L'Ecole No. 41

Perigee Seven Hills Vineyard Estate Grown Cabernet Sauvignon Blend 2017

L’Ecole’s flagship. Dark fruit, inky, good structure. Young for sure, but guts for years to come. Looking forward to revisiting this down the road. — 6 days ago

Paper Kite Cape of Good Hope Old Vine Sémillon 2019

Delectable Wine
9.2

The 2019 Paper Kite expresses the old-vine Sémillon with great clarity, presenting dried honey, walnut, touches of almond and a subtle smoky scent. The palate is very well balanced with a fine bead of acidity. More of a textural Sémillon than one of conspicuous flavors. Slightly resinous on the finish. Excellent. Evening Land Vineyards

Seven Springs Vineyard Pinot Noir 2018

Cranberry, ripe red cherry, wet forest floor, and a hint of cinnamon. Silky and elegant with medium body and lively acidity. Another beautiful wine from Oregon. Purchased at Suburban Wines in Yorktown Heights, NY. — 13 days ago
